Welcome To Wimborne Minster

Below is a list of interesting places on the Wimborne History trail but around our town there are also ‘QR code’ cards showing in windows of different business premises and on notice boards.  When scanned with a smartphone app these will give you information about topics of interest that are nearby; maybe where the town stocks were or maybe details of a person or a past event.  Some phones won’t need an app if they are quite recent models but others will need to scan the QR code using your phone’s camera accessed from the code-reader app.

You can also find information about places to shop, drink, eat and places to visit - Just by clicking on the places marked on the town map. (click ‘Large Map’)

* QR-Code” readers can be downloaded for any smartphone from the ‘Android Playstore’or the iphone. The QR code will also give you a location using the What3Words system .

If you want to be a part of the QR trail with your Wimborne business - contact us.

* What3Words is an app to locate a place using 3 words. Please download that too.

Alternatively it can be accessed on the web Just follow the w3w links on the pages

If you need large text - maybe in bright light, use the ‘Easy-Read’ site (link below)
